She sighed. "...sadly, that is the case with the rest of us." she murmured. "I have tried finding anything that might lead me to the Professor and Jean... a few of the X-Men sadly believe that the two of them perished in the explosion, but... I firmly believe that they still draw breath."

He quietly listened and turned to Storm. "Perhaps the answers may lie in America." He brought up his destination. "I...was actually headed there for a serious purpose."

"What kind of purpose, if you don't mind me asking?"

Ororo curiously glanced back at T'Challa for that.

"...." He had a feeling he'd have to tell is tale sooner or later, he did trust Storm of course, and this man seemed rather honest too, so... "My father was killed by a warrior called Man-Ape during a challenge to take the throne of Wakanda, my homeland. I am headed for America to gather allies, and plan to take Wakanda back from him."

"I've heard a bit about your culture. Haven't the people done anything to avenge their former king, or are they bound to the Wakanda laws?"

"...hrm..." She knew a touch of this beforehand, but hearing T'Challa mention it like this was still a touch disheartening.

"They are. The people are so connected to the old laws that they feel they HAVE to obey M'Baku, even if it leads the kingdom to ruin....and I assure you, he will." He clenched his fist.

"And if you don't mind me asking...how?"

"Vibranium." He stated. "Our land's treasure. It is one of the most resilient materials in the world, and we've settled around a mountain of it. It can change the world...depending on who handles it." He looked over. "M'Baku doesn't care to guard it from the wrong hands, in fact, he may give it away to organizations like Hydra..."

"Hydra?!?" he gasped. This was indeed serious. Also, Vibranium is a very dangerous element. From what he heard, it can absorb sound, and store the energy so much, until it explodes. Legend has it that, not only Wakanda is sitting on a mountain of it, which it is, but the mineral is, arguably, from outer space. How else would you explain its strange properties? Again, this was serious. "I like to help...though this, indeed, requires a team effort. I would call upon my team, if they weren't busy..."

"...perhaps..." Storm hummed, as she looked from T'Challa to Superman. "...we could consult with SHIELD."

He was very hesitant to go to SHIELD for help, all things considered. But he trusted the man in blue. "I appreceate the offer, Kal-El." He looked back at Storm. "Perhaps, though SHIELD could take advantage of the situation themselves, it appears our options are fairly slim."

Sighing, he too was hesitant to go to SHIELD. They were involved in a few events in Smallville, almost finding Kryptonian sightings. Who knows if they'll try to poke their nose at Kal-el for his Kyptonian technology.

"...then..." Storm hummed, as she closed her eyes. "...well... I am unsure if my fellow X-Men would be willing to lend us a hand, but... if we can convince at least a few of them, it would be a tremendous help."
