"...Kal-El..." She whispered that name, as if she recognized that it was not a common name on Earth. "...I see. Then... I suppose you've also read the most recent news..." That was still a sore subject for her, but she knew to keep a lid on her emotions regarding that subject.

He too had heard about the accident, but had remained quiet about it. He just kept pondering about things, such as Man-Ape and his kingdom...

"Yes...I'm terribly sorry to hear that." he sighed, wishing he could've stopped it. Sure, it was during his time in the future, but he still wished he could've stopped it. He felt he had the power to do anything, so he should've have the power to save people in many places at once. Perhaps that's just one of his limits. "But...I wanted to speak to you about that. You might not believe the story I have to tell, but it possibly involves you."

With a curious hum, she looked back at him. "...do enlighten me, Kal-El. I would gladly listen to your story, since you aided in protecting this land from the dragon's flame."

"...." He looked over at the man in blue too, but then again... "Perhaps I should excuse myself then."

"Oh," blinking at the man, "Sorry, kinda got distracted with my worries. I do believe you never introduced."

"...he is T'Challa, a dear friend of mine." Ororo hummed, as she smiled at him. "By all means, you are welcome to partake in this conversation, T'Challa."

"Very well." He nodded at Ororo. "Then by all means, continue."

"Hoo boy..." he sighed, knowing this was a dozy. "Well, my powers are...well, they're not like any other. In fact, they're off worldly. So off worldly, you could say I am an alien from a destroyed planet...which I am. Because of this, I had to undergo special training."

She blinked. That sounded... oddly familiar. "...training... under who's teaching eye?" she inquired.

"Oh, an alien computer," he said, acting like it was no big deal. Clearing his throat to return to his serious mood, "Well, it sent me to the 31st century, receiving a distress call from that timeline, from a super-powered group, called the Legion. And that time-period has quite the verity of species residing there...even mutants. In fact, they don't call them mutants; that term barely exist, except in history books."

"...so the number of mutants will keep growing to that extent?" Ororo hummed, as she trailed a tuft of hair behind her ear. "...well... the thought that we'll be accepted within society as something other than outcasts is an enlightening thought..."

"Unfortunately, that is not the case, anymore." he sadly said. "Something happened in the future. All of that time period was erased, and replaced with a dead world. Something changed that future; a friend of mine, there, located the source somewhere during the time of that explosion in your institute."

Her eyes widened. "...you mean to say... what caused the Professor and Jean to vanish during the explosion is responsible for the erasure of the future world?"

"Possibly...but I have no leads."
