[dice=6]  The attacker dodged back from the flames, as it caught onto his cloak. He tossed it off and leaped in the center of the flames.  The figure was in a black, full body cat suit that seemed to generate an odd force, keeping the flames away from him. 'Even this monsoon cannot stop it, what can be done...?' But as the comet rocket closer to the earth, its flames mostly vanished, but still left some light to show the source of its power, within it...  ...A muscular man in a blue jumpsuit, and a magnificent red cape, fluttering wild against the speed of his flight. Jetting over the land, he flew so fast, he sounded like a fighter jet, going beyond Mach 1. Shooting so fast over the flames, his sonic boom dragged them with him, now making him seem like a fireball, again. "RAAWWWGH!!!" Before it knew it, that fireball rammed on its gut so hard, they flew and crashed right onto the field, a mile away. |

On the crash site, a massive tower of fire filled the crater, thanks to the angered dragon. The dragon roared at the man it was now trying to burn in the flames... Who just stood there...in the fire, unharmed, staring at the dragon. Not even his costume and cape was burning. Snarling, the dragon swung its massive tail at him... Who caught it with no effort. And suddenly, the dragon was tossed right out of the fire, slamming to the moist ground. |

Except that not many knew who he was. The media could barely get glimpses of him after his noble sightings. All pictures could get of him was a red and blue blur, which he was dubbed The Blur. Anyways, walking out of the fire, the man held a diamond-shaped crystal. As the dragon tried to recover, the man held the crystal right at it. The dragon cried as it violently was being pulled toward the crystal. It tried digging its claws against the ground, but it didn't help with it being muddy. With a echoing roar, the dragon was sucked right into the crystal. |

Narrowing her eyes a touch, she descended towards this strange man; waving her arms at the air to dissipate the heavy rainfall after the fires died out; allowing the clear, sunny sky to be shown to the world once more. |

He wasn't quite comfortable on giving his Earth name, nor using the name the media gave him. The Blur sounds like an amusement park ride. So... "You can call me Kal-El. And I know who you are, Ms. Munroe. I've read much about you and the X-Men." |
