Queens: The Usual Teen Day

She had a sly grin, "Weeell... I'm not telling much, but lets just say I realized what is bigger than celebrities these days, and I'm going to take part of it!"

"Huh?" she blinked, carrying her tray of food over to the condiment table.

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"That's all you're getting." Sally giggled, waving a finger as she carried her food with one hand... tumbling till she had to use both hands.

[AnT]

Well if she's not going to talk, then MJ will just have to fish the answer out of her. "Bigger than celebrities, huh? I thought you were trying to watch your figure, girl."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

That wided her eyes, bolting up from her seat "WHAT?! I ment big as in more famous, not that!" Taking a deep breath, she managed to calm herself and sat back down, "Sides, how in the world would I be bigger than Oprah? Literally I mean."

[AnT]

"Hmm..." Putting her tray on the table, "I thought you have to have talent to be famous."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Well of course I do, but singing and dancing is getting overshadowed...not mention they are asking for damsel roles Look who are all in the news these days! Heck, they are making people read the news than ever before too!"

[AnT]

"Who would make people read news an----" There was one thing that was on the news and papers more than anything, these days. "....are you serious?!?!" she gritted, looking at Sally like she was crazy...which MJ thought she was.

[Chibi-Cosmo]

She stuck out her tongue, and made that empty headed smile, "You've figured it out, huh? Well I'm totally am! I am S-oh going to be famous when this works!"

[AnT]

Gritting, her mind instantly recalled that day...

Being in a crowd, surrounding a dead body of an old man, and a boy, around her age, mourning over him.


The very same boy she followed, when he ran in sorrow and anger, to his house. And then, out the window, Spider-Man leaped out.

And now the very same boy is out there, fighting crime...which she assume he's doing it for his uncle. She knew he wasn't doing the hero thing for fame. She remembered seeing Spider-Man on some low-rate wrestling show, and since never been on it, again. That was before the death of Peter's uncle, so that moment must had made him realize he couldn't use his powers for fame.

"Sally, trust me; I seen the superhero thing." she said, before sipping her soda. "And it's not a fun thing, what with the bad guys twice as large as Flash...or five times..."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Pth, I can handle my way around those jocks." Sally waved a hand, "Sides, there been many superheroes who aren't as powerful that have been able to handle them, some even without any powers!"

[AnT]

"Yeah, well that's because they had intense training from government, or some guy in the garage, or they trained themselves because their parents were murdered in front of them."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Well, its about time there should be an upbeat hero, no one so moody and with a depressing backstory." Sally stuck out her tongue, "Though if you feel that way, than forget about having you be my sidekick... I think I'll get someone else."

[AnT]

"Well there goes my dream of being Robin." she smirked, shrugging.

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Nuh-huh, the bird-motif would have been mine. You would have been... I dunno, Egg-Girl or something." Wait, she just gave a hint to her upcoming secret identity... oh, MJ seems totally against it, but as long as she didn't know what he alter-ego would have been, there would have been nothing she could have done... right?
