He leapt into the air, raising his fist before swinging it down towards Bulldozer's mug.

"...An all-expenses paid stay at the Headache Hotel!"

@piledriver@ Though he sweeped away from the blade, the hammer came smashing right on the back of his head. "ARGH!!!"

@bulldozer@ "Erk!!" Meanwhile, Spider-Man manged to hammered the headed thug to the floor. Sure, it didn't hurt him, but it still brought him down...

...skidding a smashing through the glass doors.

Just in time for the police and ambulances to skid and form a perimeter around the bank.


@wrecker@ "Argh!!" Meanwhile, Wrecker swung his crowbar right at Thor.

But Thor caught his hammer just in time to defend against the crowbar. "A valiant effort. But you of all people should know why they call me the Thunderer..." His hammer crackled with electricity, which surged through the crowbar at the Wrecker.

Oh boy, he knew he should have bailed when he had the chance. Sure, he helped fight off the criminals, but he doesn't want to be questioned by the cops. Sides, he doesn't look like the normal superhero.

@wrecker@ "RAAAAAAAAWGH!!!" Feeling the electricity frying himself, Wrecker lost all feeling of his body, and passed out.

Suddenly, there was a little girl screaming....followed by an old woman screaming, before...

@thunderball@ "Enough of dhis crap." Thunderball has had it. Seeing as they were out-matched, and with the police here, they had to resort to this. "You chumps better let us go or the little babe gonna feel her ribs crack, one by one."

He looked up to see who the token Hostage of the Day was, and immediately his heart stopped.

MARY JANE?!?!

Spider-Man quickly flipped out the window, landing in a crouch away from the desperate Wrecking Crewmember. Okay, he'd had his fun making them mad so they fought distractedly, now he would have to use quipping in one of the most important ways: to take a madman's focus away from his hostage.

MJ, why are you always where the bad guys are...?!

"Taking a hostage, bravo, original!" Spidey remarked with an aggressive edge. "And for his next trick, perhaps our Hulked-out Houdini can perform a miracle and grow a pair?"

Spider-Man stood up, shaking his head.

"We all know the cops are just an audience in blue with guns--no offense, Captain Stacy!" He called, in case the officer he actually respected was there. "Awwww, does he need a nap? Did the big, bad spider throw his ball back at him that haaaaard~? ...Seriously, if you're gonna turn tail from a hit from me, pray you never meet Benjamin Grimm."

"You COWARD!" Shouted the thunder god, as he threw his arm out. "How dare you resort to such dirty tactics, these people have no means of defending themselves!"

Hostages, terrific... a bullet won't work on this guy, so whatever Spider-Man is up to, it better work.

@bulldozer@ Though he got up, but since the police were nearby, they fired energy cannons that blasted and electrocuted the brute to submission.


@thunderball@ Gritting at him, "You shut yur s***, or for each quip, her rib-"

And from nowhere, a black gunk slapped and gripped over his face. "What the...!!" It kept stretching, trying to coat down to his neck....something Spidey would recall from a monsterous spider.

On the upside, MJ took the chance to run off.

Spidey froze. Oh, great, NOW it showed up?!?!

Upside, it wasn't back on Eddie. Downside, if it took this guy...that was one more evil Spider-Man who knew who he was!!!

"Oh, no, you don't!" Spider-Man shot two lines of webbing at the villain's feet, pulling them out from under him and yanking him away from the black ooze. "Hey, Blondie! We can talk about how stupid you were for reminding him he had a hostage when I had him mad at us later!!"

He continued trying to drag Thunderball away.

"For now, help me get him away from that stuff! Do not let it get over him!!"

"!" He looked surprised. "Wallcrawler, what sorcery...no matter." He rose his hammer, generating more electricity. "HA!" He fired out lightning at the black substance.

Quickly it shot off Thunderball...leaving him to be electrocuted. The black blob slivered fast into a restroom....the womens' restroom.[rand=719564818777144940710692666471304857308045029641638257708400488]

"What was that thing?" A black blob seems evil, but this doesn't seem to be something of demon or magic origin.

Oh, you are an ASS, suit!

"It's 'dangerous', is what it is!" Spidey swung around, kicking open the door to the women's restroom. "Any ladies in here, scatter! We have a malicious black ooze-ball on the loose in here!"

"You'll not escape me, abomination!" He smashed the door down with his hammer and ran in, bold as ever.
