Bio:
Jack Ryder, a college intern for the Gotham TV station as a cameraman, aimed to become an anchorman. He wasn't quite popular in social situations, especially with women. Anyways, as a cameraman for Summer Gleeson, they went to interview with Doctor Vincent Yatz about the revolutionary "nanocells" therapy, in his lab. Until the Joker arrived to steal these nanocells, and gassed Jack with Joker Gas. Luckily, Jack crashed into a vat of the nanos, when he was gassed, and combined with the gas, the nanos turned him into the Creeper.
He swore revenge on the Joker by hunting him down and making his life miserable. Chasing him down wherever he went, the Joker finally gave into his madness and turned himself in to Batman, just to get away from the Creeper. Batman, in turn, injects the Creeper with a sedative.
Back at Ryder's apartment, Batman applies an antidote skin patch that returns Ryder to his normal state. Before leaving him to rest, Batman warns him that the patch must be left on to counteract the nanos. After they leave, Ryder examines the skin patch curiously, finding it hard to believe that a "little piece of cotton" can make such a big difference. Outside his apartment, there is a small sound of tearing fabric, and soon the Creeper's demented laughter is pealing from the window.
Despite being a lunatic, the Creeper is still moral and heroic at heart, and storm the night fighting criminals...by driving them crazy.
