Name(s):
Jason Blood/Etrigan
Nicknames:
The World's Pre-eminent Occultist
Age:
Old as them thar hills/Even older. Appears as if he is in his late twenties/ early thirties.
Species:
Human/Demon
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Good/Good if only because he has to be.
Residence:
Itinerant, born in Devon, England.
Personal Relationships(Optional):
Jason Blood is a famed occultist and a frequent consultant of superheroes on matters of the arcane and magical. He is a personal friend of Batman, and while he might be a bit maudlin, he is a good person overall.
Occupation:
Changes over time. Currently he works as a freelance occult consultant for movies and television, along with major superheroes. He holds a doctorate in occult studies, theology, biology, among other things.
Abilities:
As a human, Blood is a very skilled unarmed combatant, especially with swords and fisticuffs. He knows how to operate and use firearms, as well. He is also extremely cultured and intelligent, and knows plenty of spells and incantations and curses.
However, there is another side to Jason Blood, that of the demon Etrigan. Etrigan is super strong and has reasonable quickness behind him, along with elemental ties to fire and ice. His invulnerability stretches to Jason, because until they chase down and finish off Morgaine le Faye, they are stuck on this world. Thanks a lot, Merlin.
Jason also has several life skills for living so long, including cooking, cleaning, military training, accounting, forgery, medical training, etc. Blood is independently wealthy- living for a thousand years plus years does that.
Weaknesses:
He might be invulnerable, but he's not immune to pain. Also, Etrigan is a demon and therefore is a hothead and can be a bit of a pain- friendly fire is almost expected by now. They're tough, but not impossible to knock out or down.
Personality:
Jason Blood appreciates his friends and allies, but he is still somewhat dour. He is jaded and somewhat tired of living, permanently stuck on this world until Le Fay is sent to burn in hell for what she did to Camelot because he let her in. Etrigan is an angry hothead, but will cooperate with heroes because he is now summoned to the world to do good. He can be overly sarcastic, cutting, and dismissive.
Likes:
Blood enjoys a good glass of wine, old books, researching the occult. He also likes simpler things, taking pride in the small things that have been consistent in life. The sunset. Waterfalls. He wishes he could have a dog but Etrigan gets all growly about it.
You don't want to know what Etrigan likes.
Dislikes:
Evil, Morgaine Le Faye. Etrigan doesn't like animals, Blood has a love-hate relationship with Etrigan.

Bio:
Gone! Gone! The form of man! Rise the demon ETRIGAN!
Jason Blood was born of petty nobility in Devon, England, and by the age of 14 he was a squire in Arthur's Court at Camelot. Eventually, he became a knight, and would later come to betray Arthur to Morgaine Le Faye, the witch, and his beloved. Betrayed by Le Faye with poison, Merlin cursed him to immortality with the demon Etrigan as he had to hunt Le Faye until she was dead. Unfortunately, Blood can't get close, as Le Faye has an amulet that can sense him or Etrigan coming, meaning he has about given up on his quest to kill her. He's tried almost everything, including more practical solutions, but nothing's worked. Le Faye finds him amusing.
At this point, Jason has done many things in his life, as he's lived over a thousand years.
