Age:
16
Species:
Human/ Mutant (later)
Gender:
F
Alignment:
Good
Residence:
New York
Occupation:

Abilities:
With a high interest in Biology, Mona thrives as an academic person. Passing with the highest marks in her AP biology class, Mona is a highly focused individual. Clever and witty, her mouth is often as fast as her mind.
Up until high school, Mona took gymnastics. She took it very seriously, though sometimes a little clumsy, she never did extremely well in competitions. However, she was stubborn and never quit until she found a sport that suited her a bit better.
In high school she took up swim team. She took to it like a fish to water.
As a salamander her mind doesn't change, however swimming comes more naturally to her. She also becomes able to climb walls with ease and stay under water for long periods of time.
She no longer requires her glasses as a lizard.
Weaknesses:
Extremely sharp tongued, she often runs off at the mouth, which has lost her friends and gotten her into plenty of fights she can't handle physically, her bit of a hot temper didn't help either.
She can be rather clumsy, and she wears glasses as a human.
After her change she becomes very self conscious about her looks.
She's allergic to shellfish, and can't get too dried out.
Personality:
Mona is rather outgoing and studious, working hard to change the situation she was raised in by getting scholarships and going to a great college. While a kind person, she can at times be sardonic and sarcastic, coming off much more harshly than she intended to.
She has a tendency of getting lost in thoughts or books and is startled easily when like this.
Likes:
Pink, mangos, peaches, spaghetti, biology, science, math, books.
Dislikes:
Bullies, saying something stupid, getting bad grades, her family.
Appearance:
Mona comes to a short 5' 2", has a rather pale complexion with light freckling, dark shoulder length brown frizzy hair, and amber eyes, often hidden by her slightly large silver rimmed glasses. She tends to wear comfortable clothes, like regular fit jeans and loose tee shirts and tennis shoes. She's never seen without her pink bandana, either tied in her hair or around her neck.
As a salamander her eyes stay the same, her skin is a forest green, a lighter green starting at her chest and working down to the tip of her new tail, with darker green stripe like marks sparsely covering her back. Her hair has smoothed, and shes still not seen without her bandana or a shirt, pants are hard with a tail :/
*will get a picture up when I draw one*
Bio:
Mona was raised near Brooklyn, her family wasn't the greatest, often scraping by with the bare minimum no matter how hard her two parents worked. Her parents fought all the time, only staying together for her. One day her mom just walked out, leaving her with her dad who worked too much and drank too hard. They moved shortly after her mom left, and just before she started high school. As a result, Mona dove into her studies determined to never have to worry about her future.
She became a straight a student, taking ap classes and working hard to get every extracurricular she can manage, less time at home the better.
