Ebon's powers were based on shadows. He was a mass of living shadow, with the ability to manipulate shadows. He could glide along walls, slip under doors and through cracks. He could travel from one shadow to another, as well as absorb other people or objects, carrying them with him.
Weaknesses:
His weakness is, of course, strong light, so he cannot stay in the sunlight. He's also hungry for power and respect. Being a common thug, he wants to become known and feared, making him one-tracked.
Personality:
He's just the typical thug leader, out to be stronger than the rest, and take over turfs. Ebon is cunning, though; able to ordered even the toughest of thugs, powers or not.

Bio:
Ivan Evans spent time in juvenile hall in his teens, and after getting out, he went straight back to his old life. He was a nobody, desperately trying to become big in crime. This led to arguments with his brother, Adam, and their father.
As any gang banger in Dakota, Ivan was at the docks at the night of the Big Bang. The gas changed him into a living shadow, and he named himself Ebon to reflect his inner darkness. Now that he had power, he started to build a gang around himself, the Meta-Breed. He "collected" those Bang Babies that were horribly misshapen by the gas, and could not return to their old lives.

One of Ebon's core members of his gang, he is somewhat sadistic, and perhaps even borderline-insane, taking a thrill in harming others. Shiv had the power to form energy-based constructs from his hands.
Talon
Talon was one of the few Bang Babies who resented her appearance and abilities, a fact Ebon manipulated to ensure her membership in his gang, the Meta-Breed. Her most notable attributes include a set of wings, extending from her armpits to her forearms. Offensively, Talon was able to emit a focused, destructive hyper-sonic shriek, similar to that of Black Canary.
