Human
Gender:
Female

Chaotic neutral, leaning towards bad

Arkham/Where ever joker takes her
Personal Relationships (Optional):
Joker: her wonderful puddin! He doesn't mean ta hit her, she just makes him mad sometimes. Really its her own fault, she knows he hates when she doesn't get the joke.
Poison Ivy: Her best friend, next ta puddin. Ivy, whom Harley affectionately calls Red, has always been there for her when she needed to give puddin a break, or when she got kicked out of the hideout.
Catwoman: Kitty was good ta her though not as close as Ivy, Kitty had always stuck up for her when Harley was in the right... though... that wasn't very often.
Occupation:
Rogue
Abilities:
While she is a normal human, Harley has extreme dexterity and agility from years of professional gymnastics training. Her strict training began in young childhood and continued until just before college, easily becoming good enough for the olympics.
Thanks to Poison Ivy giving her a shot to fight of Ivy's toxin, however, Harley has now almost meta-human level of of strength, easily lifting a hammer her 2/3's her own weight and swinging it like it was a golf club. Ivy's inoculation also made her immune to most natural and unnatural poisons and toxins, including joker's laughing toxin.
She is quite knowledgeable in the field of psychology, though not as in depth as Dr. Jonathan Crane or Dr. Hugo Strange. Well enough though to give her some insight into the people around her, save for joker.
Weaknesses:
Harley is severely mentally unstable, her psychoses run deep and all center around her puddin'. Harley suffers from a severe dependency on the Joker, as well as delusional behavior and childlike regression. Her symptoms and aggression are heightened the longer she is around joker. She desperately seeks Joker's approval and affection, easily overlooking his abuse towards her. When with him, she is very much a follower, rarely making moves without being told what to do.
Without joker, she's more emotional and open to reason.
She's a small girl, and fighting wise she can be quite easy to outwit.
Personality:
Harley's personality can only be described as erratic. She's often seen as happy-go-lucky, plucky even, as she follows joker like a lovesick puppy. Crying or extreme bouts of anger are quite common with her, especially if she feels wronged by the man she loves.

Bio:
Harleen was born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Her mother a stay at home mom, Harleen was the first of two children. She showed great promise growing up, showing great talent and drive towards gymnastics. The olympics being her dream she trained diligently until her father's arrest when she was in highschool.
Her father was a convicted conman, having "married" several older women to try and fraud them out of their money. Unable to comprehend this betrayal of trust, Harleen found a new passion, psychology. She quickly realized it would also be a carreer where she wouldnt have to worry about what happened after she couldnt do the uneven bars anymore.
Harleen quit gymnastics and lost any chance of a scholarship she had with it. To afford college, she started working in a small ma and pop cafe as a waitress. Over the course of her time there, she came to know the regulars, and one day a man she didn't know came in. She could read him easily, he was upset and drinking only coffee, so she brought him a meal, she could afford it, unlike college. The man said his name was Jack and as they talked he disclosed he was worried about his job, worried he didn't love it like he should and that he was thinking of quitting.
Harleen told him she didn't know what he should do, but if he had been her she would have done what she loved. Surprisingly the man smiled and thanked her for the meal and the advise saying he knew what he had to do. Harleen never saw him again, but a few days later a large amount of money appeared in her bank account, enough to pay her whole way through school. She just knew it was Jack thanking her, and it only reinforced her wanting to be a psychologist.
However, as smart as Harleen was, she was not much of the studying type. She quickly found using her body was easier than using her mind to pass the classes, she understood the material, she simply didn't want to work for her degree.
Upon recieving her degree, Harleen applied for her residency at Arkham Asylum. She felt understanding the most extreme of psychoses meant delving into them head first.
There she met the Joker, and after months of badgering, she began to try and analyze him. He played her like a violin, easily working her to the point where she believed she was in love with him. To the point where she was so deep in love with him, that after a particular harsh beating from batman, Harleen went to a store, stole a harlequin costume and makeup and supplies, and broke her poor puddin out of arkham for the first of many times. Harley Quinn was born.
