(Gotham) Iceberg Lounge - Of Birds and Bats

"Are you causing a stir?" Bane hummed, as he glanced at the vampire. "No, you are not."



"Dead man walking..." Penguin mused, as he drank a touch more. "...these rumors couldn't be referring to Solomon Grundy, could they?"



"...it is a possibility..." Bane noted. "...the rumors went that this man is tall, strong of build... looks pale as the rotting dead themselves... seeking only to be alone..."



"...hm..." Penguin mused. "...then again, Grundy would not be the manner of man to cause problems for criminals. So who might these rumors pertain to...?"

[Alien-Child]

Couldn't be a zombie, they are mostly mindless, start to infect others and multiply into a legion. Not to mention most zombies have bony arms and rotten skin, Bane described this man tall, big build and have skin to be pale... not the usual type of zombie, but does sound familiar.

"...in any case, be on the lookout for someone like this." Bane hummed. "He could be trouble."



"...surely you do not think of leaving just yet, Bane?" Penguin mused, as he smiled. "Come now; you're a guest here at my fine establishment. Make yourself at home."



"...hospitable, hm, Cobblepot?" He glanced towards Dracula. "Do you plan to let him stay here as well?"

[Alien-Child]

"Oh don't mind me, I'm just enjoying myself." The vampire chuckled.

"By all means." Penguin chuckled. "After all, we're all friends here, are we not?"



Bane was the only one who didn't chuckle.

Outside, there was much rumbling and sirens wailing. Swirling his glass, Dracula looked behind him. "Seems there's a party going on."

"If the Joker is out there, I'm not surprised." Penguin noted with a hum.



With a hum of his own, Bane glanced at Dracula. "...you mentioned something about a previous encounter with the bat. Tell me, is there anyone else you've faced that we should be wary about?"

[Alien-Child]

"Anyone else?" Dracula looked up, going through his memory. "I have existed for over centuries, thus I have engage in more enemies than I can even name. The mortals of course, including Van Helsing and his cohorts are long dead, although their descendants have popped up from time to time." He takes another zip, "Best them, my other notable adversaries have been either supernatural or have some degree of power, like the 'Daywalker' or that mutant... Apocalypse I believe he's being called these days." He said that with much detest.

"...Apocalypse?" Penguin hummed with a raised eyebrow. "Such an intimidating name."



"Hm..." Bane simply hummed. "So nothing along the lines of a werewolf or the resident of some black lagoon, then?"

[Alien-Child]

"Ah, you mean of the typical 'Monster Mash', right? Well I have encounter such black lagoon monster as the Man-Thing, along with a brief encounter with the Frankenstein monster, then there's N'Kantu the Living Mummu and the Werewolf of the Night."

Bane hummed. ...Frankenstein monster...? Perhaps...

At which point, a news report suddenly clicked in over the radio.

"-and we've just received reports that the Joker, previously sighted in Los Angeles after the trial against Nicholas Trask, is racing through Gotham streets, with Batman in hot pursuit. A terrorist action involving..." And the report continued.



"Hm... with the Batman on Joker's tail, he may be in for some down-time very soon." Penguin hummed with a low chuckle, as he poured himself another glass.



At which point, Bane rose from his seat.



"...are you leaving after all?"



"...temporarily." Bane hummed, as he began walking for the exit. "...I believe that Vlad would prefer the Joker not to be incarcerated, if he'd like cooperation with that man... better to keep the Batman off his trail." And he vanished through the doors.



"...a hard man to read, that Bane..." Penguin mused.

[Alien-Child]

"Well his face is behind that mask."


"Ke-he-he, HELLO!"


"Ah, some of my new 'followers' are here."


The first to walk in was a man with a wide grin, giggling mad as he entered. "Oh, swanky place. Wonder who you have to kill to get a place like this?"

"Don't get any ideas." The female groaned, her body shimmered as she entered the light.




"Humph." Dracula looked up and down at the woman's appearance, she looks so... peppy. "Interesting choice of form."

"Fashion always changes, I have to adapt." The girl twirled her now pink hair. "Sides, this is the only fanart of me, the only other picture is live action."

"...further madmen in my establishment..." Penguin mused dryly, as he sipped from his glass once more. "...I should make room in the basement. The guest rooms there have been waiting for someone to start using them..."

[Alien-Child]

"Oh, its there going to be torture machines to pull me apart and chains to choke me?" Cletus giggled, clapping his hands.

That made the psycho growl.


"Yes... Cletus can be uncontrollable, just as the Joker. Though I have interest in his 'suit', along with his blood-lust. I've been needing to collect more blood for my clan without the need of turning other humans into vampires. While expanding my numbers can be great, too much can be a bad."


"Blood? Doh, I forget to bag us a lunch!" Cletus slapped his face, "Its a shame because I saw this really smoking looking black chick on the way here to make chocolate pudding with."

"...Batgirl." Penguin mused; assuming that the woman in question was Batman's female comrade-in-arms. "Well, as long as you keep him under control, Vlad. Housing vampires and their followers or not, this is still a respectable nightclub. Appearances are a must; you should know everything about that."
