With the ninja training received by his master, Michelangelo, like his brothers, is highly proficient in ninjutsu and kobudo; having superhuman abilities due to the mutagen that turned him into a teenage mutant ninja turtle to begin with. His weapon of choice are his nunchaku, which he's capable of converting into kusarigama when more hurt is needed. His greatest strength, though, would be his unpredictability; having boundless, youthful energy when it comes down to a brawl.
Weaknesses:
His biggest weakness would be his overall lack of focus; much preferring to relax rather than stay uptight and focused about troubling things. He's not as disciplined as Leonardo, ferocious as Raphael or as smart as Donatello; being more or less the youngest brother who looks to his brothers for clues on what to do. In turn, he's somewhat impulsive as well, and reckless to boot.
Personality:
Easily the most care-free of the Turtles, Michelangelo is by far one of the friendliest beings you could come across. He's quite like a child; enjoying the simpler things like video games, pizza, comedy shows and other things. Perhaps because of this nature, he's generally the first one who wants to help someone in dire straits out; though even if he can be serious when the time calls for it, he prefers making light of some situations and crack jokes, perhaps to lighten the mood for his brothers.

After Hamato Yoshi moved to New York City, he bought four pet turtles to ease his loneliness; but one day, the five of them were exposed to a mutagen which turned the four turtles into humanoid mutants, and Yoshi into a rat-like mutant, due to coming into contact with a rat. 15 years passed, and the four turtles were trained by Yoshi, now taking the name of Splinter, in the arts of Ninjutsu and Bushido.
Michelangelo, more or less the youngest of the four turtles, soon found himself immersed in the world of entertainment; fascinated by the wonders of television and video games, which they could make use of down in the sewers with the aid of Donatello; something that Mikey's more than thankful for. As they were allowed to venture to the surface around this time, Mikey aided his brothers in fighting off aliens who may have had something to do with their mutation, including saving one April O'Neil. From then on, the brothers have been fighting at night to protect their city.
