New Jersey: Mutant Recruiment

"Oh I don't know..." he sarcastically said, clocking his eyes around. "Like maybe when the freakin Mardies were dealt!!"

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"So..." Jubilee stood before Sauron, not minding the others"Like, I can understand having a dinosaur for a form, sounds cool... I guess. But where does the whole vampirism thing come in?"

[YolkaEd]

"...well, I was under the impression that we were looking for members to join the Brotherhood." Lance retorted with a grunt. "Not to look for more cronies for your dad to add to his clique."



With a chuckle, Sauron glanced down at Jubilee. "An incident in Tierra del Fuego involving mutated pteradons caused my host to attain the ability to absorb energy from others... much like a vampire, only a lot less messier. But if he attains the energy of a mutant... I emerge."

[AnT]

"Oh didn't you see them back there?!" he barked. "Those chumps hid under tables when the Mardies picked a fight. They'll only make Toad look good. The least we can do for them is get them off this dump."

[YolkaEd]

"...and send them straight over to someone else who's building up his forces." Lance noted. "Look, I dunno if you think this is gonna work to get back in your dad's good graces, especially since those mutants really are that pathetic."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Host? You mean you're another conscience?"

[AnT]

"It's not a boot camp city!! It's the only place people like them can be safe from creeps like the MRDs." Glancing over at the dino, "Now unless that freak can drain humans..."

[YolkaEd]

Lance glanced back towards the dinosaur in conversation with the other mutant.



"Why, naturally!" Sauron chuckled. "You could say that we're a case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde; me being my host's Hyde. Attaining energy from a mutant is what triggers the transformation."



Narrowing his eyes, Lance ducked back down before the dino could see that he was sneaking a look. "...well, whether or not that's the case, what if we refuse him? You think he's gonna try and go over to Genosha and help himself to the mutants there? Either way, I don't think we should let him roam free if he feeds on mutant energy..."

[AnT]

"Hmm..." That was a good point.

[kelik]

"I agree." She chimed in. "If this man is unchecked, he may harm more of us...we can't risk that." She looked over. "Besides, I'd rather keep him close...enough to cut him if he DOES try anything."

[YolkaEd]

"See, I can agree with that kind of thinking." Lance noted with a nod in Psylocke's direction. "If we've got a energy vampire running around, the best we could do is try to direct him away from those we don't want him to feed on, and if he steps out of line, we deal with him accordingly."

[Chibi-Cosmo]

"Never thought there could be a mutant like you... with the whole other conscience thing."

[AnT]

And suddenly, sirens were heard from the distance.

"Yeahyeahyeahhe'sinnowletgetthehelloutofhere!!" Shooting inside the bar, he glared at the people hiding in, "Get your wimpy asses out of here! We'll get you to safety!!"

And the mutants quickly bolted out the door Pietro was near. In panic, they hurried outside.

"In the damn jet!!" he shouted, pointing at one of the MRD jet laying in rubble. Dashing inside said jet, Pietro tossed the bodies of the MRD crew out the hatch.

Grunting, he quickly ran up to Sauron and Jubilee; grabbing the girl by her wrist as he glared at the pterodactyl. "You can come along, but you'd damn well better listen to me and Pietro, or you'll regret it!" he called, as he hurried aboard the jet Pietro had boarded with Jubilee in tow.



With a laugh, Sauron took to the sky; flapping his wings whilst floating near the jet. "Whenever you're ready, we shall take flight!"

The woman watched him rise in the air and hurried over to the jet too. "Let's move then!"
