"...I'll explain later." he hummed, as he stepped away from her. "For now, Director... ask her whatever questions you need answered."

She looked over at the man, putting two and two together. She sat up. "...you're here to ask me about the Joker, right?"

"For starters, his beef with you." Yeah, defiantly going to ask what Banner did. He just knew his lungs will explode if he knew.

And he knew that Fury would surely not be pleased once he discovered the truth... but then again, he was actually surprised that for the moment, his blood didn't seem to have any negative impact on his cousin...

She looked away, already getting bad memories of the situation. Just thinking about it made her blood boil...wait. She shook her head, suddenly calming the rising tension. "He was working with a Nicholas Trask, a man I was due to put away in the court. He kidnapped me to keep me from convicting him...only to do it himself, then kill the man."

"Trask?!" Finding that highly strange, he looked into his terminal for the name. As he thought... "Bolivar Trask's cousin. Accused of the theft and the murder of Elaine Walters though a car accident."

Bruce narrowed his eyes, yet remained silent. He hadn't met Trask before, but he certainly felt like he wouldn't want to meet him.

She nodded, looking down. "That was my mother. I spent a good portion of my life trying to prove that he did it, and Joker ends up doing it for me. I just don't understand why..." She couldn't stop focusing on that clown.

"The guy is a grade-A bastard. He probably did it for kicks...but we'll get to the bottom of it." Glancing at the doctors, "We'll need to move Ms. Walters to our medical facility to see how this so-called miracle occurred." Though the true reason was that if Banner did what he thought he did, they needed to get this lady out of here before the doctors here need a hospital, as well.

Still, Bruce remained silent; though he cast a glance towards Jennifer every so often.

"Yes sir." They came over with a streacher... "!" But she seemed to be sitting up fine. "Hm? That's odd..." She felt like her injuries were suddenly getting better, wounds that would have taken weeks to heal. Another obvious hint at what Banner did. "A.are you sure you should be up like that?!" "I'm not sure...it feels alright though." Even she seemed confused.

"...." Oh yeah....they REALLY gotta get her out of here. But...he rather not try to sound like they had to get her out of here...FAST. No need to cause a panic. "Ms Walters, regardless, you still need to get on the stretcher. We need to take you to our jet, with us, and see how the hell you pulled an instant recovery."

While he hid it, he was naturally shocked that his blood was already creating a healing factor similar to the other guy... but still, no outward signs that his blood was changing her, when with the Leader and Abomination, the outward changes were instantaneous. Was there something else at work...?

"Oh, right." She did so anyway, and they carried her out of the room. Indeed, the blood seemed to be changing her. Though, it did seem rather slow. Perhaps it was the calm before the storm...

Yes, that what he was expecting. Anyways, he nodded to the doctors, "Thank you for your corporation." With that, he followed the guards outside, marching toward the helipad, surround by gates. There, the Quinjet waited, with its engines warmed up.
