Blade being a vampire-human hybrid, he has the notable powers of the walking dead, but with few of their weakness, this includes the sun, earning him the nickname 'Daywalker'. He is a skilled martial artist, he normally wields a sword but also uses firearms. To confront vampires, he has a large variety of weapons to fight them, like silver stakes.
Superhumanly Acute Senses: Blade's sense of sight, smell and hearing are heightened to levels comparable to those possessed by true vampires. He is capable of seeing objects with perfect clarity at much greater distances than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity even in near-total darkness. Blade's hearing is similarly enhanced, allowing him to detect sounds that an ordinary human can not and to be able to hear sounds an ordinary human can, but at greater distances.
Superhuman Strength: Blade is supernaturally strong and is capable of lifting about 1 ton.
Superhuman Speed: Blade is capable of running and moving at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Agility: Blade's agility, balance and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Stamina: Blade's musculature generates less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Blade, like full vampires, possesses an accelerated healing ability that allows him to heal mild to moderate injuries with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. Blade is capable of healing from severe slashes and puncture wounds within a matter of hours. However, he is not able to regenerate missing limbs or organs.

The one weakness of vampires Blade still has is the blood lust. If he doesn't satisfy this, he'll go on a rampage and become feral, to make sure he doesn't attack any humans or innocents, he has serums prepared to settle those urges.

Blade, when he is in control of his self, is normally stoic and doesn't talk much. He barely works with other people, when he does they are mostly trained well in fighting vampires or other supernatural creatures, but even then he's skeptic of working with them. Its mostly so he doesn't want others to get in the way of his hunt.

When Blade's mother was pregnant, she was attacked by a vampire by the name of Deacon Frost. Blade was soon born, however he wasn't fully a vampire or a human. This made him into a child who feast on the blood of the living and walk during the day.
He was pretty much just like the monsters until he encountered an old man name Abraham Whistler who trained him and helped the boy take control of his vampire instincts and put them to good use. Blade became a vampire hunter, defending humans from other vampires and at times other supernatural creatures. Among them he fought was Deacon Frost, the vampire who turned him into a monster, and even the legendary original vampire himself, Dracula.
