Dick Grayson: Rival, Red X was once a criminal persona the original Robin had but somebody stole the equipment, opening old skeletons for the teen hero. Red X knows this, and enjoys making Dick mad, even going to flirt with the girls he likes (Zatanna and Starfire). While they fight on different sides of the law, they have a respect for one another and have help each other out at rare moments.

Red X being a human depends on his own skills and technology. He's an expert martial artist and gymnast, able to match with Robin and fight super powered beings.
His normal gadgets includes the ability to generated giant red X's that he can use in a variety of ways, teleportation and a pole staff.
Weaknesses:
His suit requires xynothium to make his X's, to supply it, it is very rare and unstable. Red X is very secretive, he had told no one his real identity.
Personality:
Red X is a laid back thief who only looks out for himself. He jokes around in his heist, makes wise cracks to his opponents (especially Robin) and flirts with girls to make them mad, just for thrills. Despite all this, Red X has a noble side, willing to owe a favor or even play hero when he has to.

When Dick was the original Robin, he was obsessed with defeating the supervillain Slade the Deathstroke. Seeking to get closer to him, he donned a supervillain disguised known as Red X, not even telling his friends what he's planning.
Robin put the costume away, hoping it would be just gathering dust. However someone broke into the tower and now dons the costume. Since then, he has not got any closer to finding out who is this mysterious criminal.
