Name(s):
Unnamed
Nicknames:
The Monster, Frankenstein, Frankenstein's Monster, Victor Jr.
Age:
Immortal
Species:
Composite Creature
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Neutral
Residence:
Germany
Personal Relationships:
Victor Frankenstein: Creator
Dracula: Natural Enemy
Occupation:
Roamer
Abilities:
Frankenstein, being built from human parts made to fit his eight-foot tall physiology, possesses the strength of a hundred men in one; being on par with many other characters possessing unnatural strength. Notably, his most well-known ability is that of immortality; being fueled by several sources that keep his body moving, his undead exterior is immune to any fatal blow. Due to the way he's built, he's outfitted with several parts of several organs, including hearts and brains; making it quite difficult to control his mind. He's also a bit of a sharp shot; carrying a gun with him to deal with enemies from a distance.
Weaknesses:
You may recall the trope of zombies shambling slowly towards you? Frankenstein is the king of it. His incredible build, doubled with his leg muscles not fully capable of bending, forces him to shamble forward at a slower pace. In spite of his outlook on life, in turn, there is a sense of a child-like naïvety to his character; making him believe (and in turn, follow) anyone who hasn't crossed him.
Personality:
Silent, leering, cold and lifeless, Frankenstein would be the perfect example of why one should not play God. Aware of his misshapen exterior and abhorrent, almost blasphemous existence, Frankenstein is somewhat self-conscious, and tends to gravitate towards solitude in order to remain at peace. This isn't to say that he's like a certain other green rage monster, though; he's actually somewhat friendly, if a tad slow on the uptake, and, if given the chance, can even be intellectual. Get on his bad side, however, and you've invoked the eerily calm wrath of a real monster.
Likes:
Solitude, intellectual conversations
Dislikes:
Dracula, being hunted
Appearance:
Bio:
Much like a certain other character, if you don't know Frankenstein... grab a book to read.
Created by the scientist Victor von Frankenstein as an experiment to create life, the monster found himself at first shunned by not only his creator, but humans all around him as he wandered about. He discovered one certain family though, and observed them for a year or so; learning through their actions how humans would usually act. However, still shunned, he approached his creator with a simple request; have a mate be made for him, so he could retreat into the wilderness and never return.
As Frankenstein reluctantly created the monster's mate, however, he was approached by a certain count from Transylvania, who had heard exploits of the monster's creation, and intended for the scientist to create an army for him. Apalled by the mere thought, Frankenstein quickly had the unfinished creation destroyed, so the count could not get his hands on that manner of design... however, the act was witnessed by the monster.
Enraged at this betrayal, the monster lashed out at his creator, whilst the count temporarily retreated. After a brief struggle, Frankenstein and the monster were suddenly chased by a mob of angry villagers; all of them intending to kill the creature due to its hideous nature. The chase led them to a windmill, which Frankenstein and the monster were trapped within; however, the count showed up with intent of enslaving the monster.
Surprisingly, however, the monster resisted the count's control, and ended up marking him as his true enemy, rather than the traitorous scientist. With a word of warning, the count vanished just as the mob set fire to the windmill; leading to the seeming demise of both Frankenstein and the monster...
...however, the monster had merely been knocked into slumber for several centuries; awakening to find himself in a completely different era. Locating a gun within his creator's ruined castle, Frankenstein now took to wandering the lands aimlessly...
Anything else? (Optional)
Based mostly on the DC variant (with the gun and everything), with a light touch of Van Helsing thrown into the mix
