Name(s):
Jennifer Walters
Nicknames:
She-Hulk, Jade Giantess, Shulkie
Age:
28
Species:
Human (for now)
Gender:
Female
Alignment:
Good
Residence:
Los Angeles
Personal Relationships:
Bruce Banner: Cousin
Occupation:
Lawyer
Abilities:
Jennifer Walters is a skilled and experienced defense attorney who attended UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. She is also a skilled pilot, possesses sufficient skill in self-defense skills to dispatch would-be muggers much larger than she is, and has great knowledge about acupressure and psychology.
(HEAVY NOTE: The following shouldn't come into effect before a certain point in the RP)
A transfusion of gamma-irradiated blood from her cousin Bruce Banner grants Jennifer Walters superhuman powers; turning her into the She-Hulk. In this form she possesses enormous superhuman strength, which can sporadically increase during times of emotional stress, such as fear or anger. Unlike her cousin, though, her personality and intelligence virtually unaffected when undergoing her transformation, although she does becomes more self-confident and assertive. She is also fully capable of switching between her two forms at will; again, a major difference between her and her cousin.
As She-Hulk, Walters is exponentially stronger than she is in her human form; as a result, any extra strength gained as Jennifer Walters through intense physical training will be amplified exponentially when she transforms into She-Hulk. Her body is also superhumanly durable and nearly impervious to force, pain, and disease when in her transformed state; her skin can withstand extremes of temperature, as well as tremendous stresses and impacts without puncture wounds or lacerations. Her enhanced physiology renders her immune to all known terrestrial diseases. She also possesses a healing factor, which enabled her to completely recover from severe injuries; almost to the extent of her cousin.
Weaknesses:
Sadly, however, being less of a raging beast than the Hulk doesn't mean that Walters is completely immune to those unhandy outbursts of rage. Though she is more capable of controlling it than the green giant, if exposed to heavy amounts of radiation (gamma radiation being the more potent), the animalistic side of the Hulk blood rears its vicious head, and turns Walters into a danger both to friend, foe and locations; fully capable of destroying small towns when in this monstrous stage. Also, her idealistic nature has a tendency to make her torn up over certain issues; mainly because of issues that are either lawfully just, or morally sound.
Personality:
Though she is usually quite demure, whenturned into the She-Hulk given the chance, Jennifer can be a fun-loving, kind, empathetic, and even feisty woman who frequently jokes around during a fight. She's also somewhat of a pacifist; never killing her foes if she can't help it. As a highly idealistic lawyer, she has a history of defending the rights of minorities, the mentally ill, civil liberties (including the right for criminals to not be unduly mistreated and get a proper defense), or individuals to not be victimised by certain less ethical corporations, but also a belief in the necessity of law and order.
Likes:
Law, order, justice, her cousin
Dislikes:
Corruption of the above ideals, creeps
Appearance:
Normal form
One of the rare times she isn't in anything skimpy or torn
Fourth-wall madness
Bio:
Jennifer Walters is the daughter of the Los Angeles County Sheriff, William Morris Walters, and Elaine Walters, the sister of the late Brian Banner; making Walters, in turn, the cousin of Bruce Banner, also known as the Incredible Hulk. At an early age, Jennifer was fascinated by the law system, and vowed to study in order to become a professional attorney when she grew up. While her father was less enthusiastic about this (mainly due to the high amount of crime rising due to supervillains), her mother was completely supportive of this. Sadly, though, when Jennifer was only 17, Elaine perished in a car crash. Her father tried making amends by focusing on raising his daughter, but she was now more than ever adamant in pursuing her career. Though known to be somewhat of a pushover, her first attorney case was to be in the defense of a former agent of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss her father had to deal with... something Nicholas wasn't too happy with at all...
Anything else? (Optional)
Ed and I agreed that She-Hulk's origin should be adapted in the rp, it'll be more interesting that way. ^^
