The arctic was a harsh climate, and one of the final steps between Russia and the US, it was also the last place anyone had seen, or heard, of two certain people. But more on that later...
Some jets flew overhead, some of them has S.H.I.E.L.D emblems on them, they seemed to be coming back from a mission of some sort.

 Coming here, with such a mighty and renown government organization would be crazy, right now she's hanging on the underside, cloaked from security systems, trying to bare the cold with her outfit. Why she's here? Well, after reading some of her father's old files... she had the urge to check this super serum out. |

A few polar bears were closeby growling, but they weren't growling at the girl, they were growling at a certain area...a small cave.

Something must be upsetting those bears... she had to split away from S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually, otherwise they'll catch onto her. Swinging her feet, Black Cat flew away from the chopper, sliding onto the snow. Making sure she wasn't seen, she swiftly move around the slopes, leaping over the bears and making her way to the cave. |

It was around this time of year where part of the ice thawed out over the season, it slowly melted away the iceland year by year. So some of the area looked very melted. But one part of the area melted just enough for one to see...  A living legend, frozen in a large chunk of ice. |

"Its him..." Black Cat's eyes were wide with awe. One of her father's earliest crimes as just a child involved getting information of the the superserum, something he never revealed. Her father might have been a theif... but he wouldn't betray America. She decided to sneak in this 'mission' in an attempt to be closer to her father. Here she is, seeing one of the first superheroes. Though, is he still alive? |

The man looked perfectly preserved, he didn't look dead, just sleeping.
Suddenly, some men came down, aiming their rifles at the girl. "Don't move!" S.H.I.E.L.D agents, seems they didn't leave the area after all...

"Hey, stop!" They were about to pursue, but found that the cave seemed to be more complex than they thought. "don't chase her!" One man shouted, as they turned to the ice. "We have work to do..."

A few moments later, the patrol had a few more soldiers coming through. Some scouted around the area for the cat, but of course couldn't find her. While the others had various tools and equipment, trying to break the captain out. Eventually, they did...  "...." Amazingly enough, he was breathing faintly. "He's alive!" "Call Director Fury, he'll need to know..." |
