New York Countryside: The '5th Turtle'

So much clothing to wear.... but it was needed, otherwise unwanted attention would be drawn. Best to wear this.... strange coat and scarf if I want to continue my journey. The being thought, keeping into the shadows to avoid the humans.



At the train station, a human brushed through wearing light martial arts clothing. She got a few whistles and cat calls, but she scowl back with a sharp glare. Venus. you so owe me for this.... She's not used to the ways of this modern world, but then again so is her partner. But since she's human, she has to interact with these modern people to get some ticket for the vehicle they require.

A faint whistle rang through the air as someone was wandering not too far from the train station; glancing over there with a hum. "...hm..."

Adjusting her sunglasses a bit, she peered over at the station whilst a light hum escaped her lips. ...maybe they got some food over there? She fished out a wallet from her pocket, looking through it. ...hm... I could afford a sub or somethin'... Shrugging, she wandered over to the station, hands pocketed.

"Uh...." Staring at the woman before him, "Can I help you miss?"


"I require access to use your vehicle for me and my companion to reach the nearest city."

"Uh.... you mean train tickets?"


She turns to the right, where a figure in the shadow nodded. "Yes."

"Okay.... that'll be 20$. Will that be cash or credit card?"


She tossed some coins onto the counter, which the man picked up and eyed. He saw strange designs, kanji he believes around a square hole.

"Lady. what you trying to pull? We accept AMERICAN here." One sharp glare by the woman made the man tremble and back up.


Wait, different countries have different money? Damn, she should have looked into this....


"But.... but.... I'm sure I can find a way to exchange it. I mean tourist always come by here." The man nervously chuckled. He pulled out two papers, shoved it to the woman and shut the window.


Looking at the tickets, she shrugged.

"Hmm..." As she entered the station, she just glanced around, looking for some kind of café to eat at.

She walked into the shadows to meet up with her partner,


Who turned out to be a humanoid turtle, "I see you've got them."


She held up the papers. "Wasn't that hard. Where's Kris?"


Her eyes widened.

"Ooooohhh.... I'm so hungry." A little female voice whined. A ball of white light flow through the train station, holding her rumbling belly. "What do humans eat these days?"

And as luck would turn out...

...she was walking not too far from this ball of light, approaching a café with some outdoor seats. "Perfect! Get some grub here, then move on..."

"YUMMERS!" The light squealed as she dove into the cafe.

"Alright...!" With a grin, she rubbed her hands together as her order, a burger with fries and some cake to the side, was put on the table a little after she had ordered it. "Chow time!" And she grabbed the burger to start eating.

~Munch~Munch~

And she won't be the only one.... cause right on her burger, a little speck of light was eating her burger too.


Though if she looks closer, she finds it looks like a small woman with wings.

"...uh?" Seeing that, her gaze immediately narrowed, and she just gawked straight at the... small woman with wings concealed by a speck of light. "...the hell are you?"

"Hmmm?" Looking up at Tabitha, and how she was to her mouth. "AAAAAHHHH!!! DON'T EAT ME!!!!"

With a tilted head, she just moved two of her fingers to pluck the pixie off her burger, eying her curiously. "...you don't look like a snack I'd wanna eat, that's for sure." she remarked. "What are you, anyway?"

"Uh?" The girl blinked. Wiggling, she tried to get her wings free from the woman's fingers. "Jeez lady, have you ever seen a fairy before? Or have you future yankies suddenly forgot about us?"



Can't believe she's doing this, but she's running around the station crying out "KRIS! KRIS MU!"

"...a fairy?" She tilted her head. "You sure you're not just a mutant?" With a shrug, she just looked at the girl. "Look, whatever you are, ya think you could go munch on someone else's food? I'm paying for this stuff, ya know."

"Mutant?" Kris however to the woman's nose, "What's that? some kind of yokai? I am NOT A YOKAI. Okay, nothing against yokai, one of my best friend is a yokai, but I am NOT ONE. You got me?"
