This is more of a logbook chapter as of now while I work out what exactly I'm going to do with CADMUS. It's also a way for you guys to summarize what's going on in the day, if you so wish- especially because I'm bound to miss things that I'm not in.At this point in time, the world was in chaos.... What else was new. Amanda Waller sipped at a tall glass of grape soda. No wine on the job. She preferred Cabernet sauvignon, but it was still business hours. Right now she was keeping track of current events. "I wonder who this new lightbulb the Flash is battling is," she asked herself, somewhat interested, "And the new sidekick..." Each superhero or villain had a threat assessment level. Flash's was yellow. The level was green to red: Green Blue Yellow Orange Red There were various factors as to what level each hero or villain attained. Dangerous madmen such as the Joker were Red. No negotiations, no intention to do anything other than evil. The Flash was a Yellow threat level. He was powerful- fast enough to dodge almost any bullet or missile if he could identify it coming. He was well liked, and could be rather problematic if he turned. However, certain factors lowered his threat level: Wally West (and yes, she had ascertained that the Scarlet Speedster was indeed Mr. West) was a good forensic technician, and there had been zero hint that he had ever doctored, withheld, or violated procedures when it came to evidence. He was in a stable relationship, and he grew up around a man who had died a hero. Even someone like Waller was somewhat moved to find out that Barry Allen had died of cancer resulting from the miracle he pulled at Three Mile Island. But right now, the Flash and this new kid were trying to drag this potential threat out of Central City. Fine with her. Waller moved to the next monitor. That one had been picking up disturbances in Dakota, where apparently a dangerous gas had been leaked. SHIELD was on it, and she'd get more detailed reports through CADMUS's links to them. Right now, that itself was a very testy situation, especially as there were reports of heavily armed and dangerous gunmen running about. Next she moved to the storm ongoing in Cincinnati. Superman had blown out a tornado, but there were reports of some bystanders seeing a dragon of some sort. That was always worth watching. Right now she had eyes on a group of three heroes standing around a figure she couldn't make out from the resolution. "Subjects likely Green Arrow, Black Canary, and the person known as 'the Question'," remarked the computer, which had read through the camera data and tried to match profiles. "Hrm. What would the Question want in Cinncinnati?" she asked rhetorically. She knew about the Stagg plant and the mutagen shipment. "But more importantly what could Black Canary and Green Arrow want with the Question?" She then moved to replays of the shootout in San Antonio. This Vigilante character was somewhat of a nuisance, and his weapons seemed to be more advanced than what a normal, well, vigilante could afford to make. "Well well, Mr. Sanders, nice work," she said with a slight smirk on her face, "Though I should think that there are more than a few helicopter pilots in trouble as we speak for losing you." Vigilante was a Blue threat level. Gregory Sanders was a very intelligent weapons designer they themselves had kept an eye on- it was why it was rather elementary to deduce who he was. But so far he had racked up no fatalities and hadn't destroyed police or government property when he hadn't the need to. Amanda figured that his luck would run out eventually. Even though he probably had engineered some sort of bulletproof apparel, a daredevil gunman like that wasn't likely to be long for this world. Just to fit with AnT's story on that end, she is currently unaware of Superman meeting with Greg.Reports had Green Lantern leaving the planet. She figured that either his parent organization had called him back, or there was a problem elsewhere. He was another Yellow threat level. John Stewart had a good record in the Marines, and being a member of an interstellar police force was a point in your favor in her book, but it wasn't as if he did not pose some sort of threat if he went wild. That ring of his enabled him to do some rather extraordinary things. You guys can obviously add things for her to watch or update me as you see fit.

"Ms. Waller, sir?" a researcher entered her office, handing her a large folder. "Here are the bios you requested." Ah yes, information of other superpowered beings she might not be familiar with, by heart. Spider-Man, aka: Peter Parker...a 16 year old boy, living in the New York district, Queens, who's swinging around fighting crime. According to intel, he accidentally got his powers by being bitten by a genetically-altered spider, thanks to Dr. Curt Conners of NYU. The boy could very much be labeled between blue and yellow. While he's only a troubled teenaged boy who still lacked experience, he has took down high tier criminals in New York; like kicking Tombstone off his seat of the city's crime-boss, and defeated the Green Goblin. His powers is mostly in the Gamma level, he has proven to be highly resourceful and intelligent. Also, one of her employees, Dr. Miles Warren, an expert in genetics, has high interest in him. Thor, Norse god of thunder is easily in the Red level. First spotted in a small town in New Mexico, his battle with some giant armored being leveled the town. He could easily rival Superman's power, especially since the Kyptonian has no resistance against magic, and coming from a realm full of magical warriors and gods, what's to stop them from invading their world? However, Nick Fury somehow got him recruited in his new Project Avenger, so hopefully the one-eyed general can keep him in line. And oh yes, Superman. Who could forget him? Perhaps on the Red level; his powers could rip the planet apart if he somehow becomes rogue. He only started a couple months ago, being a superhero in secret. Nobody could get a glimpse of him, since he moved too fast; thus he was named the Blur, that time. But it wasn't until a week ago, he was fully spotted, saving a cruise ship, outside of Miami. And after saving a plane in Metropolis, Daily Planet called him Superman. But many still don't know much about him; some loved him, some feared him because of his vague appearance. He doesn't waste time leaving once he saves or stops someone. So how can CADMUS know much about him than the public? Well, years ago, in Smallville, there was a meteor shower, containing Kyptonite. These rocks, in time, mutated some nearby folk, giving them unstable powers. Clark secretly stopped them, but he was investigated by Lionel Luthor, who was part of a small group that expected Clark's arrival. He wanted Clark for his own gain, but he had no solid proof if Clark was the alien. But when he found out about Clark, he did nothing for some reason. They could not know why because his son, Lex Luthor, killed him. But his information about Clark was left in his personal files. They even hacked the files about Clark from the brilliant astronomer, Virgil Swann, after he passed away. Right now, Superman was seen around the ruins of the Xavier manor, hanging with the X-Men. It seems he's trying to help them reunite. But why?

Appreciated, AnT."Thank you, Lieutenant," said Amanda, "And bring up the files on the X-Men. There has to be a connection between Superman and them that I can deduce. I want two F-22s ready any time that blasted jet of theirs leaves that institute. Tell them if they get within radar range of that thing I'll make sure their wings are clipped." She sipped at her glass again. Superman was definitely a problem. If he went they'd only have what little Kryptonite that the government had managed to gather from other meteors around the world. They'd also seized whatever they could get after the Smallville Meteor event- and the whole thing explained the radar shadow that was seen over Fort Leavenworth a certain number of years ago. The Kents themselves were under on-and-off surveillance now. "And didn't our agents in Britain report some movement on Shiera Hol's part? Heard something to the effect of a murder that Scotland Yard is investigating."

"Yes, the reports should be in those files." he said before walking out. Shiera Hol, formerly Hawkgirl of the long disbanded Justice Society of America, had long lost her spirit after the death of her husband, Carter Hol, the Hawkman. The JSA were arrested by SHIELD, during the time Amanda Waller was in service with SHIELD, after Shiera beat the first Icicle to a vegetated state for murdering her husband. She, along with most of her team, were arrested. Somehow, she got out, on parole, and recently returned to her old job as a archaeologist. Reports said she was involved in the murder of Jack Knight, the Starman, who was killed by the son of the Icicle. Shiera was saved by a mysterious new super-powered woman. And thanks to an undercover agent, working as a taxi driver, and knew many languages, they found out about her. Diana was the princess of the fabled Themyscira. Seems she's just here to explore, without her mother's permission. She and Shiera were dropped off in the slums, but vanished from radar.

"...An Amazon. That's news," she grumbled. She didn't like not knowing about a new player. She figured that they had disappeared through some sort of travel device- power surges and electromagnetic interference in cities with heroes were becoming all too common, and their ability to appear in multiple places lead her to suspect there was some sort of network of wormhole-like devices that they were setting up. She put into the computer to update her whenever Scotland Yard came across something involved in this murder. She also wanted to know where this new Icicle was, and if she could track down the proper bank accounts in case she needed to have them, appropriately, frozen. At any rate Scotland Yard was likely looking into that. She looked at the files again. "...Fury..." Fury was the one that was in charge of SHIELD now. Because of the mess that was the JSA situation, she had been given CADMUS due to her tepid support of the previous administration's decisions. At any rate, she liked it here. Blacker than black, more shady than SHIELD was. But Fury was an old associate- they had worked together for years. She was actually happy for him that he took the reins of SHIELD. Good man...if a bit too into hero worship for her taste. She didn't have a hero she looked up to other than her own father. Right now, though, she was in the midst of planning a new alternative. Because the JSA wouldn't work for them, there were other things being done... "Computer, I want the files on the progress toward the Ultimen project's completion," she frowned, "And we're going to need to find a proper public spokesman for the group. Make sure Maxwell Lord's on my speed dial."

According to the stats, the project is about 49% in completion, as filed by Dr. Warren. Along with the researcher was another one, who looked slightly Hispanic, Dr. Miles Warren. @warren@ "Ms. Waller, if I may, I like to give out files for an addition to the Ultimen project." he said, setting some folders on the desk. As for the other folder, about the X-Men.... @xavier@ Many years ago, during the time President Kennedy was in office, Professor Charles Xavier led a group called Division X, consisted of Dr. Henry Mccoy, Raven Darkhölme (aka: Mystique), and Erik Lensherr (aka: Magneto), and a few others. They were devoted to fight rogue mutants while try to find ways to bring peace between mutants and humans, should they come to public. Their last mission was against a evil mutant group, called the Hellfire Club, led by Sebastian Shaw, who wanted to start World War III in order to wipe out the human race from Earth, allowing the mutants to rise up and take over it as the survivor race, with Shaw as the leader of the new world order. To this end, they manipulate American and Soviet government officials to instigate the Cuban Missile Crisis. Shaw was killed by Eric, but he 'turned to the dark side' by siding Shaw's views of humans, but he killed him anyways for the death of his mother. ater, after the US and Soviet forces fire on them, Magneto takes control of the missiles, and attempts to use them against the armies. Charles begs him to stop, but Magneto's experience with the Nazis has caused him to feel no sympathy for men who are "just following orders". When CIA agent Moira MacTaggert tries to shoot Magneto to stop him, he deflects the bullets, inadvertently sending one into Xavier's spine and paralyzing him. He and Xavier go their separate ways at this point, Mystique and the underlings of Shaw going with him. @xavier@ Years later, Xavier secretly opened his school for mutants, in Bayville, New York, dedicated to teach mutants how to control their powers, for the betterment of mankind. Sadly, a nearly a year ago, the institute was destroyed from an unknown source, and Xavier and Jean Grey went missing from the blast; presumed dead. @cyclops@ Scott Summers, whose power produce powerful optic beams. However, thanks to an accident, involving a plane crash, damaged a part in his brain that could've helped control his powers. @jean@ Jean Grey, a powerful psychic mutant, second to Xavier. Her powers developed when she watched her best friend die. Unlike Xavier, she had to learn not to read people's minds. However, reports shown her powers developed dangerously high, which may prove a threat if that power goes beyond her control....and if she's still alive. Now here's a defiant threat. Because of his healing factor, James Howlett, aka: Logan/Wolverine, dates past World War II. He was part of the Howling Commandos, led by Captain America. Sometime later, around the Vietnam, Howlett volunteered for Project X, by now-Major William Stryker, to enhance his skeleton with adamantium to give him the strength to kill Victor Creed (aka: Sabertooth) who killed his girlfriend. But his mind was erased in order for Styker to use him for other experiments. Obviously Logan escaped... ...and years later he was with Xavier. Despite being 'tamed', he's still dangerous. Ororo Monroe, who possess the power to manipulate weather, was considered a god by an African tribe. But she then joined Xavier's cause, loyally. She's a potential threat, due to her needing to keep her emotions in check, or her powers can control her, and cause damage to the ecosystem. Kurt Wagner, born with the appearance he has now, is the son of Mystique. He has to power to teleport in a two-mile radius. Strangely enough, he was expected to head back to Germany, to his foster family, but didn't. Foster daughter of Mystique, Anna Marie Darkhölme, aka: Rogue, has the uncontrollable power to absorb the energies, memories, and powers of anyone she touches. She was once reported losing control of the residue powers and memories of the people she touched, and went on a rampage in Bayville. Yesterday, she did it again, in Illinois; damaging a local high school. Kitty Pryde, aka: Shadowcat, has the power to phase through matter. While she can go through walls with ease, she isn't high on the threat level. Dr, Henry Mccoy, aka: Beast. Once part of said Division X, he later became a teacher. He used a serum to keep his mutation in check, but his mutation finally got the better of him, turning him into a furry monster. Reports showed that SHIELD lent the imprisonment of Rogue and Logan to the MRDs, but was broken out by the X-Men.

All of them were already known and fit on the various places on the scale. "An addition, Doctor?" asked Amanda, "You should have raised it at the last budget meeting. Make it quick." That's when she got the report from the F-22s that the X-Jet had dropped off radar outside Chicago. "...Hrm. Keep an eye on the ruins of their institute...And tell Pearl Harbor to have jets at the ready. They're likely going for Mr. Summers." She frowned...this would be so much less problematic for them if they'd just file an FAA approved flight plan...at least then it would be legal...but of course someone possessing stealth technology like that would be an issue. Other problem: they had no one to go in and enforce any sort of law on them. Galling. Simply galling.

@warren@ "My apologize, ma'am." he said, adjusting his glasses, "But this new addition would serve as a...practice for Project Galatea." Considering they don't have Kyptonian DNA. The files had information to use Peter Parker's DNA to create a more enhanced clone; to age the clone more than Parker up to his prime. He chose Parker because, despite because of an accident, he was the most finest specimen of a human spiced with animal DNA...something Dr. Achilles Milo has trouble with. Hopefully the files, confiscated from Dr. Kurt Conner, should help the foolish doctor. This new addition would be nicknamed: Kaine. Oh yes, more on the files about the X-Men....their new addition... Emma Frost, a psychic mutant who can also turn her body to crystal. She once held the Inner Circle Institute, in the same manner as Xavier's school. However, her students used their powers to cause trouble. Government authorities believed she and her staff taught them such, but Emma denies this. MRDs managed to shut down the school and arrested the students. Emma, later, bought the deed to the Xavier Institute, and now claims herself as the X-Men's sponsor.

You get bonus points for bringing up that crazy bitch haha."Hrm. I'll have to consider it, Doctor, but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention now, rather than starting something that could get you shot for treason," said Waller, "I'll see to it that you get your man. I hope you don't mind working with Dr. Ira Hamilton on this?" She looked at Frost's file. "Frost is a problem child," she frowned, "Whether she's telling the truth or not about what she teaches, she attracts it like honey to flies. I want our financial arm to keep a hold of her data and keep running it through. I don't trust her acquisition of the Xavier Institute."

@warren@ "Oh not at all," he said with a bit of cheerfulness. "The man who was once acquainted with young Kent? It'll be quite interesting."
Yes, Dr. Hamilton used to be, not only Clark Kent's personal doctor, but a good friend of the Kents, who kept their secret about Clark's origins. But it wasn't until that whole Brainiac thing, where the robot alien somehow controlled Kent and harassed Hamilton for something he had. All DNA samples he had of Clark were destroyed, during that event...
...and it left the doctor scared of Clark.

"Good. Turns out the man is a capable geneticist as well," said Waller, "I'll have him escorted here in the morning. And doctor..." She looked at him a bit coldly. "No foul-ups. And try to introduce enough new genetic material into the clone of the Parker kid that it's not actually a clone. I don't want the resemblance to be perfect. No stupid identity crises, understood?" NO CLONE SAGA ON MY WATCH!

I would've introduced Ben Parker if I wanted to be the Clone Saga.
@warren@ "Oh don't worry, ma'am. I'm not a fan of unnecessary drama, myself." he smirked, walking off.

And thank goodness you didn't...I only know about the screwiness of that thing from Linkara's reviews and I'll pass on being the one to authorize it."Computer, make sure the order goes out to get Doctor Hamilton here by tomorrow morning at 0730. And clear out a dormitory room for him."

A solider sudden rushed in, with a folder. "Ma'am, here's the report on the symbiote event, like you wanted." As yes, Eddie Brock, son of Eddie Brock Sr. Eddie Brock was a freshmen student of the ESU, and intern for Dr. Kurt Conners, and old friend of Peter Parker. But he was secretly jealous of Peter, and the situation reached its peak when Black Cat tried to steal the alien symbiote, that it got on Spider-Man. Because of that, Eddie was expelled from the university, because he was in charge of guarding it. But when Spider-Man returned it, in front of Eddie...so he thought...Spider-Man attempted to freeze it to death. The symbiote, however, did not die, and decided to bond with the vengeful Eddie instead, creating Venom, with the knowledge of Spider-Man secret identity. Eddie's purpose was now to make Peter's life miserable, then destroy him. But Peter created a gene-cleanser, distributing Eddie's bond with the symbiote forever. He was then hauled off to Ravencroft, having gone insane. But on the files, it was said, a day ago, Eddie got the suit back, despite being forced the gene-cleanser. With that, Eddie broke out of Ravencroft, and was last seen in Gotham, captured by Silver Sable. Why was he there? Well, during the breakout, Venom was electrocuted by the prison's security. His suit spawned a red symbiote, which got into Cletus Kassidy; a vile serial killer, almost as bad as the Joker. The red symbiote turned him into something even worse, calling itself Carnage. Venom chased him off, demanding Kassidy's symbiote back. Sadly, when Carnage arrived at Gotham, he vanished off radar. Cadmus' magical members suggests magic involved. During Senator Kelly's announcement about his Sentinels, a boy, related to the Flash, appeared, and so did a woman that was heard to be a symbiote. Details about her was unknown, for she cannot be tracked by any conventional means.

"Thank you, Lieutenant," she said, frowning again. She was getting rather annoyed with these constant breakouts. No prison security ever seemed enough anymore. And of course the damn appeals system takes too long to kill them.
