He stopped training, panted and rubbed his head. "Morning already, huh?"

"Whoa!" He jumped at that too, despite already being awake. He zoomed over to his brothers' sides, and lined up along with them.

@splinter@ "Our morning excerise. It's important to keep the senses as vigor as possible." Walking off, "Please make yourself comfortable. We won't be long." he said, walking up the flight of stairs.

Short? That training session felt like forever. Splinter kept drilling Donatello with sessions on improving his senses...which led him so many jabs to the shoulders. They sure felt bruised. But he knew what could cheer himself up...his new invention!

"Guys!!" he excitedly cried, zipping back to the living room. "I not only fixed the halo-watch of Kurt's...I perfected it!"

"Like what, doesn't require Double-A batteries anymore?"

[YolkaEd]

"You mean he can disguise himself as anything now with that watch?!" he assumed with a gleeful grin. "Awesome! It's like he'd be a human chameleon, only... way cooler!"

[AnT]

"No, it already could do that. But what I mean is that the halo-watch keeps breaking down because it constantly has to adjust the illumine-lens and imagery protocols, constantly. No highest source of technology of this day and age can keep up with that for so long. Which was why I mixed in Kraang-tech; no need for lights and illusions. This modified watch can ionize the electrons, in our environment, and convert them into false-proteins skins, while forming its shapes, using magnetic pulses, so our shells won't be sticking in of our disguises."

"..." He tilted his head. "...uh... ya lost me at 'but what I mean is', Donny."

[AnT]

Why did he bother, he wondered. A demonstration always get through their thick skulls. So, while wearing the watch, he pressed it....and suddenly, glowing straps came out of nowhere and wrapped around him. When the light faded, it was like a different person took his place.

"Whoa! That's amazing, Donny!" He zoomed over and looked him over. "Geez, you're like a completely different person..." He smirked a bit. "...well, except your teeth."

"Dude!" Looking upon this, Mikey just had the biggest grin on his face. "That's so cool!"

"Eh, pretty suits you." Raph said with a smirk. Donny maybe a nerd, but he does make amazing gadgets for them.

Kurt appeared next to the group, "Awesome, you fixed it! It looks amazing, Dude! No vone's ever figured it out over zhan ze professor and Mr. McCoy." Kurt was thoroughly impressed.

After pouting at Leo about the teeth thing (which was something he couldn't figure out, himself), he grinned at Kurt. "Well, yeah, it wasn't easy. The technology behind it was amazing, still. But with the new modification, people won't feel your fur. And look, guys!!"

And he pulled out four watches, all looking like turtle shells with belts around them, with their respected colors. You just have to lift up the lids to get to the digital screens and buttons. "I made one for each of us!! We can actually use these to go to the surface...in broad daylight!!"

"...really?!" With a gleeful laugh, Mikey pumped his fist in the air. "That's super cool, Don! That means we don't have to hide in the sewers until nightfall!"

"No kidding!" He laughed and patted Donny's back a bit hard. "Nice work, Donny. I can't wait to try em out!"
