Well maybe not that, but how about numerous turrets hanging from the ceiling, all aiming right for them?

"Right!" She followed behind. When she dropped, she walked along after them too. "I agree...we could use something more entertaining." |

And then, if they were to continue on the hall, they would be in a massive room....
...where many firearms you can think of all aimed at them. Thing about it was that they were all carried by some type of fire like energy.
