"Kelly, right?" he growled, finding out about that stupid law; something Kelly made to keep SHIELD off his back. "Activate the LMD."

In the ship, a capsule on the corner of the coach room opened, allowing a humanoid robot to stand up out of it. Marching toward the rear hatch, light surrounded it...

Forming into a identical copy of Nick Fury, before it jumped off. It marched, matching Fury's angry march, perfectly. "Alright, what's all this bull-s***! Who's in charge here?"

One of the armored men turned, and held a cube...

Bringing out a holographic image of a man in his late forties.

"Trask!!!" he hissed. This man was imprisoned for letting loose his first model Sentinel, but somehow, Senator Kelly bailed him out.

Logan merely snarled at the sight of that man.



As this went on, Coulson just looked down at the scene. ...how come they're not recognizing Rogers? It shouldn't be that hard...

He silently stood next to his old war buddy, blinking. "Trask? I'm assuming he's bad news?" He whispered to Logan.

[AnT]

"Well Fury, been a while. What, still the sore loser from that trail? I got out, in accordance by the law."

"I don't give a rats ass about that, Trask. I'm here to warn you that you're stepping on thin ice for interfering a SHIELD operation."

"Tsk tsk, Fury, you're interfering a MRD operation; having your own solider attacking my operatives, and one dressed like Captain America." Scoffing, he glanced at said solider. "Don't tell me you actually created that serum, Fury. You were saving that outfit for a guniee pig, as I recalled."

Logan glanced at Rogers with a hum. "Chief of the MRDs; mutant-hating extremists." he replied, before smelling at the air once... and he glared back at Trask. "Don't be naïve, Trask... he's genuine. I'd recognize that smell anywhere." he grunted.

"Glad to see you too, Howlett." He said, and stepped, pulling his mask off.

"For what it's worth, I didn't act on orders. I jumped into the fight on my own, SHIELD can't take the blame for what I did."

[AnT]

"Never mind him." he said, holding Steve back.

"Must we have to involve the law here, Fury? Remember that you're not allowed to handle any mutant affairs." he grinned.

"Not unless it involves national security, and this does. Unless you forgot about article 3, section 23 in that bulls*** law Kelly made for you to hide your smug ass in?" He may had lost that trail, but at least he managed to convince the president to add that in."

"Geh..." Apparently, he did forget until now.

With a grunt, Logan glanced at Fury. "...so, you need me for something of that caliber?" he mused, before nodding towards Rouge and Deadpool. "Right... but only if they stay away from the girl."



"Ooh! Ooh!" And Deadpool waved his arm at Logan.



He hissed, as he glanced to the side. As much as Wilson pissed him off... well, he wouldn't want even his worst enemy in the hands of the MRD. "...and the psycho, too."



"Yes!" Deadpool cheered with a brief pump of his fist.

He looked over at Deadpool and the girl in question, then back at Fury and Trask.

"Now hold on there!! That girl terrorized a innocent high school!! She needs to be-"

"Her too, Trask!" he warned. "Don't make me go up there and haul your ass up, because I will."

"....." And he was seething.

"..." Though she felt bad about destroying that school, it was nice to see Trask being told like the punk he is.

"Hmph!" Turning around, he prepared to go...

"You're making a big mistake, Fury!!" he shouted. "You're making a big mistake to let these FREAKS live!! They'll replace us in several generations if someone doesn't do something!!"

Shooting right up to his hologram, he gave a dangerous look. "Listen, you smarmy little bastard, I've been serving this country since before you were even an itch in your daddy's pants, and I will not allow anyone – and I mean anyone – to commit genocide in the name of my country; not on my watch!!"

Growling, he marched off. "Move out!!" he barked.

Aboard the jet, Coulson merely folded his arms and smirked. Way to tell him, Nick. he thought.

With a grunt, Logan gave Rogers a nod. "...let's get outta here." he hummed, before giving Rouge and Deadpool a nod.



Deadpool let out a laugh. "Man, for a moment, I thought things were gonna get wildly outta hand!" Then he glanced towards the screen. "No, I didn't." he whispered.

He smiled wide, impressed by what he saw. Nick Fury seemed to take after his father quite well. "Roger that." He followed along.

Though he did told off that slime, Fury was still miffed that someone like him could get a free ride from jail, thanks to the lousy government. How did someone like Kelly get elected to be a senator, is what Fury wondered.

No matter, for as he climbed back in the Quinjet....he glowed, reverting back to its robot form. It slid right back into its pod before it sealed up.


"....he was a robot?!?" she gawked in confusion. If he was, she thought, that would explain everything about him.

"...it's just a decoy." Logan grunted, as he approached the aircraft whilst passing by Rogue and Deadpool. "SHIELD's been using them for a while, now."



"Yeah, that's old news; get with the times!" Deadpool shot in.



"And how do you know?"



"I see dead people~"



"Ignore him." he grunted with a roll of his eyes. "Come along... Rogue." he added.

"You have some unique friends there." He looked at Deadpool, as he stepped onboard. He looked to Coulson. "Sorry about that, I almost made things worse."
