While passing by, however, the Skuttlebutt picked up traces of a being whose build greatly resembles that of the demon... Speaking of the being...  Guess who finally found the exit. He leaned on the wall a bit, trying to regain his second wind. He saw the Korbinite speaking with another man. He didn't recognize him at all. |

Humming, Bill glanced over to him. "...he's the being I was talking about. We engaged in combat, and he was a mighty adversary... but no demon should ever again bring a Korbinite to his knees." |

He rose up. "I do not understand...you defeated me, yet I was simply left there? No bars, no chains?" He looked the Korbinite over a bit, trying to see if he still had you know what. |

If Thor was here, then that meant Bill's outfit had some meaning...especially the hammer. "You're wielding his hammer?! How is that possible?! Legend say only Thor can..."
Meanwhile, a small jet headed for the parked alien ship.  With General Fury, on the passenger seat, looking miffed. He trusts this Superman as he trust anyone...only half-way. He just hoped the kid didn't do anything stupid...and he wished they picked out a descent outfit for She-Hulk, sooner. Since none of the SHIELD uniforms would fit on her, they had to give her some gym spandex from the helicarrier's personal gym room. |

If these legends you speak of are true, that Thor be the only one who is worthy of its might... then perhaps the hammer itself is more open-minded than previously thought."
 As he sat not too far from the She-Hulk, Bruce had to irk to the side; obviously in discomfort that his cousin, even if she were in the form of this woman, wore clothing like that.  Squirrel Girl, however, didn't seem to be in discomfort at all. "Looking good, She-Hulk!" she said with a pat on the amazon's back. |

"!" He looked stunned at what he said, and looked down. "Open minded...?" It wasn't too long ago when Odin cast him out and engraved a seal on the hammer. At first, he believed it was a joke. But he saw that the banishment was to teach the once arrogant Asgardian a lesson in humility. But now...what if the hammer really WAS meant for better hands? 'Father, you cannot mean this man is...' He looked very conflicted. -----------------  She grinned at that. "Thanks. I kinda like it." She nodded. "Thanks for the costume."  "You're welcome..." She refused to loan her anything herself, considering the size difference... She looked out at the group. "There's Thor, he's injured..." She was amazed that he was in such a shape. |

"..." He did looked like he was separated from a best friend. He wasn't quite sure how to resolve this, especially if the hammer chosen this alien. So for now, he put those thoughts aside. "You said this demon is related to Thor. Maybe-" And suddenly, the skies turned black, with lightening raging from it. "THOR!!!" a godly voice boomed.
Something that even Fury heard from in the jet. "Now what...?" |

"...hn?!" Bill quickly jerked up, and gripped Mjolnir tightly. "...this power... greater than even his...!" he spoke; actually feeling the power brimming from this thunderstorm more so than the power Thor possessed. "...don't tell me... the demon...?!"
Both of them gawked up at this sight as well. |

A image, as large as an island, parted the clouds itself; a man, so god-like, sat on thorn, beyond the clouds.  @odin@ "So an unforeseen event has passed. Mjolnir finds two equals. However, only one may be truly worthy to wield Mjolnir alone. Therefore, to settle it, a fight to the death must occur." "What?!?" if this guy was Odin himself, then it was shocking that he would pit his own son in a death match. |

Bill narrowed his eyes. While he valued a battle of honor above all else, he found this man... curious. He cast a glance at Thor. "...this being... he is your father?" he hummed. |

"That he is." He nodded. After the challange was issued, Thor suddenly felt rejuvinated. This was his chance, to prove he was the true wielder of Mjolnir. "Perhaps the answers you seek may come from this battle as well..." A massive crash of thunder sounded, with a flash of light. And suddenly, Thor, Bill, and his ship were gone. Leaving Superman standing alone, baffled. "...?!" And Fury annoyed. "Motha ****!!!" |
