Grinning, Joker swung the crowbar with enough force to slam Jennifer against the ground. [dice=6]
"Objection!" she retorted, as she tossed a photograph at the attorney. "Then explain that, fancy-pants!" And, as the photograph would clearly depict, Trask was actually shown in the company of one of Gotham's most renowned criminals; the Joker himself. And it was not at all forced; both of them seemed to be in quite good spirits according to the photograph.
In any case, another objection meant another powerful swing of the crowbar. [dice=6][rand=593595019576357121520914258247088911387600448786324576517854703]

[dice=6] [dice=6] She braced in for the attack, groaning out at the blows. ------------ "Ack!" The lawyer and Trask both spat out in shock, as the jury spoke amongst themselves in surprise. @judge@ "Oh my, this does see genuine..." "I.I object!" Trask himself spoke out. "This picture is fake, I assure you!" Trying to put the idea down that someone was framing him...he was cornered alright.[rand=9235146047160296780713658847458295655509662861255339306507196249]

"Another one!" And he swung the crowbar once more. [dice=6]
"Your objection's objectionable!" Harley called out, as she actually took out a tape recorder. "Mistah White had to put a lot on the line to get this... the reason he couldn't be here would be so that the man talking on this tape wouldn't find him and crush his kneecaps with a crowbar or somethin'." And she pressed play, which let a familiar voice ring through the court room... "Joker speaking! ...oh, Traskie, it's been too long! How's business? ...oh, I see. *gasp* You sly devil, you... all that cash, and no lottery prize involved? Tell me, how did it go? National Bank? Did'ya just hire some thugs to keep 'em distracted while you illegally extracted all that cash? ...oh, I'm just wildly curious; go on, elaborate."She simply grinned, as the tape continued to play.
"And that's two in a row!" Laughing, Joker smacked the crowbar twice against Jennifer's body. [dice=6][dice=6][rand=66650331094473449751727949072471545131440133383244578216783244784]

[dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] "Ngh, guh!" The blows kept building up. She breathed hard, as more and more bruises grew about. Her hair was a complete mess, and so was her suit. Trask was cornered, just what she wanted...but she had never felt so helpless. ------------ Trask's expression was priceless; and the jury's quiet conversations turned into a giant roar of outbursts. @judge@ "Order! ORDER! I will have order!" He slammed his gavel down a few times. "This is more than enough definitive proof...rather overwhelming one might say." "Y.your honor!" Trask said. "Someone's framing me, I swear..." He sweat enough bullets to load a machine gun.[rand=220851607886596836998976146756307210690603394351867039760396590515]

At this point, Joker just kept rapidly hammering Jennifer with the crowbar; having long since forgotten the game... ...and after quite a while, he ceased, before fishing out a phone. "...don't worry, Jenny... help's on the way." he chuckled darkly, as he dialed a number...
...and Trask's phone would suddenly go off. "...Mistah Trask, is that your phone? Who could be callin' you right now?" With a hum, Harley looked up at the judge. "I think it would be wisest to let him turn on the speakers so we can hear who's callin' him; right, Mistah Judge?"

"H...help...?" She groane out in a weak voice. ------------- Trask looked surprised at that, and turned to Harley. Almost knowing who was on the other line... @judge@ "Hm, that would be wise. Mr. Trask." With another groan, he pulled the phone out an opened it, turning the loud speakers on. "...yes."

"Traskie, buddy! Joker here! I was gonna say that I just finished beating the everloving snot out of the Walters attorney like you asked me to! Poor girl looks ready for the hospital... or the morgue at this point. Hahahahah!"Harley hummed at that. "Oh, by the by... I've got a bomb rigged to go off in two minutes. Unless you like to see roasted defense attorneys sprinkled all over L.A, you'd best hurry to the warehouse about three blocks away from the court house...
...
...oh, that's right! You were supposed to be on trial in the court house today! Whoops, silly me; I completely forgot about that, Traskie! Tell you what, I'll call you back when we don't run the risk of you getting completely busted for working on the side with me. Ciao!" And he hung up. Silence. "...Mistah Judge... I would recommend leaving a couple'a guards to restrain Mistah Trask, while we go and save Miss Walters. If the Joker's got her captive..."
Hanging up, Joker looked down at Jennifer. "...well, that was certainly refreshing, wasn't it? Thanks to you, I've got the perfect set-up... you'll probably hear about the punchline in the morning, provided you don't bleed out." With a chuckle, Joker began heading towards the entrance of the warehouse.

Trask lost the grip on his phone, lookin rather speechless. "......" His attouney was also speechless. "....." @judge@ "....." He was also speechless, until she spoke up. "Ah? Right, agreed. There's no need to delay." The guards came up to Trask and restrained him. Trask growled out at the girl. "This isn't over yet." Generic villian quote of the day... ---------- "...y.you're a monster..." She watched him leave, coughing up a bit of blood.

Joker stopped upon hearing that remark. "...well, aren't you just the most perceptive attorney." he remarked with a dry, cruel chuckle. "Besides, look on the bright side! You can stop worrying about claiming vengeance for mommy now..." With that sadistic laugh, Joker strode out of the warehouse; closing the door behind him.
She merely huffed, as she approached the phone Trask had dropped; all while the court room emptied aside from her, Trask and the guards.

"...tch..." Some tears rolled down a bit. Trask was defeated, mostly thanks to him. But it wasn't quite right. It couldn't help her feeling helpless...and of course, there was the motive. Why did Joker do all this? For evulz!Soon enough, the police rushed over to the warehouse. ----------- While Trask was halled off, not even noticing his phone was missing.

However, it wouldn't end there... ...as all of a sudden, when Trask was on his own with the guards, Harley swung a pair of bricks at the back of the guards' heads to knock the two of them out. [dice=6][dice=6][rand=97906564310221640763719881614174246443124842387233877523741361539]

"!" The two guards fell over, out cold.
Tresk turned in shock. "The hell?!" He stumbled back, struggling in his handcuffs.[rand=371072830803434447900955980530920601124630670769048746217868389287]

"No time!" Shoving the phone into Trask's grasp, Harley quickly dragged him out of the building, before tossing him into the backseat of a waiting car, that instantly drove off when Harley slammed the door shut. As the car drove, speakers within the car began flaring to life... "Hello, Traskie! So, what'd you think of my little joke, hm?"

Trask frowned. "Hilarious...the hell are ya tryin' to pull here, clown!? Thanks to you and your little bitch here, I'm a wanted man!" He shouted.

Oh, you needn't worry about that; we've made arrangments." Joker chuckled over the speakers. "Let this be a lesson, though, Trask; the next time you try indulging in business deals with a psychopath, make sure that he's not insane enough to pull off a stunt like this..." He chuckled darkly at that quip. And, as Trask would notice, Harley wasn't in the car... in fact, the car didn't seem to be driven by anyone; as if it were remotely controlled.
