"Howard Stark found that while looking for you, Rogers, and it been in military possession for quite a while. But as they tried examining it, the cube...had quite the spunk, shall we say. It caused so much energy fluxes that nearly tore open any facility it was in, and attracted the attention of some magic users, known as the Ancient Ones."

Bruce would find detailed info about Fury's explanation, as well as photos of cloaked men who looked like they were from Tibet. The leader, who had less clothing, was an old man...



And another photo were statuettes of busts of six Greek warriors.

He looked the photos over. "Magic users, huh? I'm getting the feeling they aren't going to use the cube for anything friendly..." Even while he was asleep, the world still had some shady people around.

[AnT]

"Not exactly. They warned us that the cube was too dangerous for human hands, and wanted to seal it away. We didn't trust them, at first, but the cube was threatening to burn us all. So we negotiated that Stark build a containment vault, and those magicians use their voodoo to make sure the cube's energy can't be detected by anything, or even penetrate the vault by any means. They hid the vault somewhere, while we kept its six keys..."

Pointing at the statuette photos, on the folder, "And some of the Howling Commandos has them, including my father, which was passed down to me."

Bruce hummed. "...then I take it that some outside forces have taken interest in the cube?"

Hearing that the other Howling commanders were still alive put a smile on the good Captain's face. "Hm, that's good to hear. They're all good men."

[AnT]

"Hydra, of course..." He answered the doctor. As for Steve, he knew he had to shoot his hopes. "I'm sorry, captain, but the locations of the keys died with them. Time can be a bitch. Well...all, but one."

Of course, his smile faded. He had a feeling they didn't survive. And hearing of Hydra didn't help either. "Had a feeling...wait, one?" He blinked, a little surprised.

Bruce simply hummed. "...care to explain, Fury?" he inquired curiously.

[AnT]

"James Howett." Glancing at Bruce, "You might know him as Wolverine."

[kelik]

"Howett!" The man didn't seem to talk about himself a whole lot, but then again most of the Howlers didn't like to do that. He was definitely a unique fellow though, he had to say. "And is he one of the holders too?"

Humming, Bruce nodded a few times. "...last I heard, though, he's gone missing..." And quite a number of individuals he had heard or read about in passing... had something to do with some kind of explosion...

[AnT]

"No he hasn't. We been keeping track of him, just like we been keeping track of you, doctor. But that's moot." Walking over to the center of the room, on the walkway, Fury typed on some strange glass panels, which had holographic computer images. "Point is, we believe the cube is pulling creatures, left and right, into our world in random locations. I believe you met with one of them, captain."

"That creature I saw after I woke up, right?" He crossed his arms. "That would make sense..."

Bruce hummed at that. "...do you think it's reacting to something in order to toss those creatures at us, Fury?"

[AnT]

"I don't know, but we need to get to it to find out. Problem is, we don't know where those damn monks hid the cube." Pressing a button, he brought up a global map. Energy waves were located in different locations on the globe. "It's causing rifts, making it difficult to pinpoint where the cube is. But, we know that the cube emits gamma radiation."

A smirk, he made, staring at Banner.
