"Sir, we have the Hulk on sights. He was weakened in a fight with some...red Hulk."
"We had reports from out undercover agent that Ross was messing with stuff he shouldn't be playing with. I want Banner stabilized and brought in before that retired old fogey shows up."
"Yes sir."
Hiding in the tress, some beings kept a careful eye in the emerald beast, aiming rifles at him. And with delicate precision, they fired darts that would emit a powerful electric shock that could take out five rhinos at once. Just enough to force Hulk to revert to his human self.
So it's not a good idea for anyone to catch these, unless they wanna get electrocuted to death.

[dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] Just as he rolled over in his sleep, however, the darts narrowly missed striking their target. Though a small grunt emerged from the back of his throat, however, it didn't seem to be enough to wake the Hulk; leaving it up to the figures in the trees to either act with patience, or line up a shot the Hulk wouldn't be able to dodge.[rand=7558989463071414755430667477301289305032387446142977475738211462]

"Oh for the love of..." one of the shooters grunted in annoyance. This beast was practically the equivalent of the broad side of a barn...and they missed.
Hoping no one caught that on camera like a certain psychopath who breaks the forth wall on a daily basis, they fired darts aga-
"Hold you fire, men." someone on their ear-pieces warned. "Stand-by. He might revert to normal."
They see why their commander wanted them to stand-by. Considering the Hulk had a rough fight, he might sleep his Hulk-form out.

Indeed, for as the beast was slumbering, he grew more at peace, as he slowly began shrinking; his body mass reverting... ...as he eventually returned to his normal form; still completely asleep. "By the way? Totally got that on tape for later, suckers!"

"Dammit!!"And seeing the beast shrunk to normal human form, the snipers felt the danger has passed. With ease and comfort, that leaped out of the trees and casually approached the man. "Sir, we have Banner on visual."
"I'm on my way."No sooner did a blue hover bike shot over the trees and swooped down by the squad and settled. The driver dismounted and removed his black helmet... To let his bald head be free. Walking over to the slumbering man, he leaned down and shook his shoulder. "Get up, Banner."

"...ngh..." Blinking a few times, Bruce slowly looked back up at the man towering over him. "...Fury...?" With a tired yawn, he slowly rose into a sitting position. "...managed to track me down regardless, huh...?" he mused dryly.

"I been keeping my eye on you for a while, Banner...but we gotta talk about a few things; namely about your red buddy."

Gritting his teeth, Bruce rubbed his temples; racking his mind to recall what had happened... ...the poachers shooting him... ...Hulk emerging... ...helping Gert and Old Lace... ...and... that outcry... ...flashes of red... fire... ...his haunting words... "Let me put it simply... your BLOOD was all I need."[/b] "...that was..." Bruce slowly uttered, as he glanced back at Fury. "...Thunderbolt... wasn't it?"

Nodding, he recalled the earlier days when the Hulk was first born. General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross was involved in an Army research and development program intended to recreate the "Super Soldier" biochemical enhancement first developed in World War II. He had Dr. Bruce Banner work on it, but he thought he was working on a scientific treatment that could make a soldier immune to radiation. Thunderbolt never told him about the project. And then came...the accident. Ross took charge of the Army's effort to recover the fugitive in coordination with the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division. But he truly want Bruce's blood to create more Hulks to use as military weapons...and he succeeded in obtaining samples. But when they tried to recreate the accident, they made uncontrollable monsters; monsters like the Absorbing Man, Wendigo, Bi-Beast, and Abomination. Because of that, Fury halt the project and confiscated all Hulk samples from Ross.

Apparently, however, that hadn't been enough, from what Bruce could observe. "...Fury..." he grunted, as he glanced at the S.H.I.E.L.D. leader. "...after Blonsky was put behind bars... what did Thunderbolt end up doing?"

"I thought you knew. All those gamma monsters you fought was his doing into creating biological weapons based on your DNA. Shame he couldn't control them. I pulled the plug on the project and confiscated all the Hulk samples from him." Glancing up, he watched a jet craft slowly touchdown on an opening, nearby. "But it seems he secretly stashed spares."

Bruce hummed. The last monster he had fought before finally leaving America, Emil Blonsky, had apparently been injected with a prototype serum based on what created the legendary super soldier from the 1940s... and became the Abomination after he had come in contact with a blood sample of his. Both his blood and the serum didn't mix well. "...so when he didn't get to experiment on other soldiers... he ended up using his own body." he deduced with a grave tone. Exactly what he didn't want to happen was happening; the Hulk was being used as a weapon.

Yes. Before Ross injected himself with the Hulk serum, he had Blonsky use the prototype super-solider serum. Sure, Fury used to be behind the bio-weapon project, but after how it created worse monsters than the Hulk...no thanks. "Ross is the least of my worries. I only came to ask on your expertise. Sorry, but I can't elaborate...not here." Turning around, he marched toward the craft, which let down its rear hatch.

...something was making Fury go to such lengths as to make what amounted to a gamma-radioactive time bomb collaborate with him... something was up. And it had piqued Bruce's curiosity. "...wait." he eventually said, as he glanced back towards the sleeping girl and velociraptor. "...those two... we're bringing them along too, right?" He didn't know the exact circumstances that had brought the two to India, but leaving them all on their own didn't sit well with him.

Now that he mentioned it, the dino-pet of that girl's struck his curiosity. The only way to get a dinosaur is from the Savage Land. "I got some questions for her, anyways."
